EASC will introduce teachers to Korean literature through an online, asynchronous Sijo Poetry. Teachers will learn about Sijo (Korean Poetry) through online lectures, presentations, examples, and teaching materials.  Information about the 2021 Ohio Sijo Competition will be included as well.

Asynchronous Sijo Teacher Workshop:

  • Open to any educator in any state
  • Finish by May 1, 2021
  • Self-paced, asynchronous, online
  • Gives teachers a background in Sijo, examples, lesson plans

  • Dr. Mark Peterson will introduce Sijo and answer questions
